We are pleased to announce that our members, Joanna Ryszka, Anna Stwora, Marlena Moskal, Dariusz Jakubowski, and Natalia Supernak, have just published an article titled Say Gesundheit to the Bagel-Eating Paparazzi: The Role of Borrowings in Super Bowl Commercials.
The article analyses 358 Super Bowl commercials, from which we extracted borrowings from various languages including French, Italian, and Japanese. We believe this paper offers valuable insights for those interested in the media discourse and lexical borrowings.
