Wsp\u00f3lnie pochylimy si\u0119 nad plusami i minusami mem\u00f3w wykorzystywanych w reklamie i przekonamy si\u0119, jakich technik u\u017cywaj\u0105 marki tworz\u0105ce memoreklamy.<\/p>\n\n

Many have already noticed memes in the landscape of social media advertising. While they often bring positive reactions, some people frown upon them. As meme researchers, we will try to present memes as cultural artefacts and means of expression that allow for the communication of more than a thousand words. Together, we will look at the pros and cons of memes used in advertising, as well as explore the techniques used by brands to create memevertisements.<\/p>\n

Long ago, Rej wrote that “the Poles are not geese; they have a tongue of their own.” Of course, it’s true \u2014 we do have one \u2014 but we still eagerly borrow words (and not only!) from English. But do we know why and what we’re actually sneakily taking into Polish? Do we use the word ‘crush’ correctly? Do we still remember November ‘grobing’ and summer ‘sma\u017cing’? Why has ‘rel’ established itself quite well in our phone dictionaries, leaving Polish potential equivalents far behind? So many questions, and yet one workshop is enough to find all the answers you need and win a contest for successfully deciphering heavily anglicized Polish expressions.<\/p>\n\n

To oczywi\u015bcie prawda \u2014 mamy \u2014, ale i tak z ch\u0119ci\u0105 z angielskiego s\u0142owa (i nie tylko!) po\u017cyczamy. Jednak, czy wiemy czemu i co tak naprawd\u0119 tak sprawnie podkradamy? Czy dobrze u\u017cywamy s\u0142owa ‘crush’? Czy pami\u0119tamy jeszcze o listopadowym ‘grobingu’ oraz wakacyjnym ‘sma\u017cingu’? Czemu ‘rel’ ca\u0142kiem dobrze zadomowi\u0142o si\u0119 w naszych telefonowych s\u0142ownikach, zostawiaj\u0105c polskie potencjalne odpowiedniki daleko w tyle? Tak wiele pyta\u0144, a mimo wszystko jedne warsztaty wystarcz\u0105, by znale\u017a\u0107 wszystkie potrzebne odpowiedzi oraz wygra\u0107 konkurs na odszyfrowywanie mocno zangielszczonych polskich wypowiedzi.<\/p>\n\n
