ORIENTAL MEETINGS IN SOSNOWIEC 
<\/strong>(SOSNOWIECKIE SPOTKANIA ORIENTALISTYCZNE)<\/strong><\/p>\n

An interdisciplinary academic conference promoting intercultural dialogue addressed to young scholars, including postgraduate and graduate students,  whose research interests focus on the languages, literature and culture of Oriental countries, especially Arabic-speaking countries, Central Asian countries, China, Japan and India. The conference will explore a wide spectrum of topics ranging from the ancient civilizations to the present-day cultures and languages of these regions in all their richness and diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Venue<\/strong>: online on MS Teams and at the Institute of Linguistics, ul. Grota Roweckiego 5, 41-205 Sosnowiec, Poland<\/p>\n

Conference languages<\/strong>: English \/ Polish
Paper presentations: 20 minutes for the presentation plus 5 minutes for the discussion<\/p>\n

Abstract submission<\/strong>: Abstracts (no longer than 250 words, Times New Roman, 12 pts.) should be submitted in PDF or Word format to konferencja.omis@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong> by 20 February 2023<\/strong>, along with the filled registration form in a PDF format. The body of the email should contain the author\u2019s first name and surname, affiliation and the title of the presentation.<\/p>\n

Conference fee<\/strong>: 150 PLN (onsite presentation) or 100PLN (online presentation) \u2014 participation without a presentation is free of charge.<\/p>\n
